Wasps have announced that Alex Gray and Tommy Mathews have joined the Club on short-term deals.
Gray joins Wasps on trial, after playing with Bath Rugby last season. The former England U20 captain, had a stint in the NFL with Atlanta Falcons, before his time with the Somerset side.
The former back-rower turned outside back has made 31 Premiership appearances, across time with Newcastle Falcons, London Irish and Bath.
The 30-year-old also spent time with Wasps team-mate Marcus Watson at England Sevens, after a distinguished England age-grade career.
Mathews joins Wasps on a short-term contract from Championship side Hartpury College. The 20-year-old fly-half was with Northampton Saints and featured for England Under 20s last season.
Wasps Men’s Head Coach Lee Blackett said: “We are delighted to bring Alex and Tommy on board. They are both quality players and have already added to our group in training.

Gray added: “I am really excited to get the opportunity to train and play with Wasps.
“I’ve enjoyed some great battles with Wasps over the years and I’m looking forward to having the Wasps players and fans on my side now.”
