Two England internationals issued with Citing Commissioner warnings

Here are the details of the Citing Commissioner Warnings following the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup Rounds 1 and 2.
Round 1

Camille Chat (Racing 92), Teimana Harrison (Northampton Saints) and Owen Farrell (Saracens) were issued with Citing Commissioner Warnings following the Round 1 matches in the Champions Cup.

The warning issued to Camille Chat (No 16) during the Racing 92 v Leicester Tigers, Pool 4 match on Saturday, 14 October was for a dangerous tackle in contravention of Law 10.4 (e).

The warning was issued by the match Citing Commissioner, Stefano Marrama (Italy).

The warning issued to Teimana Harrison (No 8) during the Northampton Saints v Saracens, Pool 2 game at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday, 15 October was for retaliation in contravention of Law 10.4 (l).

The warning issued to Owen Farrell (No 10) during the same fixture was also for retaliation in contravention of Law 10.4 (l).

Both warnings were issued by the match Citing Commissioner, Eddie Walsh (Ireland).

Round 2

Will Rowlands (Wasps), Charlie Walker (Harlequins) and Dominiko Waqaniburotu (Brive) were issued with Citing Commissioner Warnings following last weekend’s Round 2 matches in the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup.

The warning issued to Will Rowlands (No 5) during the Wasps v Harlequins, Pool 1 game on Sunday, 22 October, was for holding the leg of the Harlequins prop, Joe Marler (No 1), in contravention of Law 10.4 (m) Acts contrary to good sportsmanship.

The warning issued to Charlie Walker (No 14) during the same fixture was for a dangerous tackle on the Wasps fly half, Jimmy Gopperth (No 10), in contravention of Law 10.4 (e).

Both warnings were issued by the match Citing Commissioner, Murray Whyte (Ireland).

The warning issued to Dominiko Waqaniburotu (No 20) during the Challenge Cup, Pool 5 match between Brive and Oyonnax on Friday, 20 October was for charging into a ruck with his head and making contact with the back of the Oyonnax fly half, Anthony Fuertes (No 10), in contravention of Law 10.4 (h).

Players who accumulate three Citing Commissioner Warnings, or who are shown three yellow cards for Foul Play offences, or a combination of both, during the pool stages and knockout stages of the Champions Cup and the Challenge Cup, will be required to attend a Disciplinary Hearing.
