Two England wingers considering big-money moves to France
Wasps winger Christian Wade is reportedly ready to give up on his England dreams in favour of a big-money move across the channel to France.
Watch him live and it seems almost offensive he has won just a solitary Test cap. Every time he touches the ball a ripple of anticipation goes around the ground.
The 26-year-old, who scored 17 tries last season, was left out of England’s depleted squad that headed to Argentina over the summer and wasn’t included in Septembers training squad.
“He – Jones – said he has what he needs and wanted to try something new and some of the younger guys.” revealed Wade.
There’s also chat that Harlequins winger Marland Yarde, who has featured under Jones, could be moving to France as well when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The St Lucia-born speedster was linked to a big money deal in France four years ago before joining Harlequins, and maybe the deal could be set to be resurrected.
