Tynedale have appointed former England Saxons, Newcastle and Leicester flanker Ben Woods as their head coach for the forthcoming season.
Woods, who won two Premiership titled with Tigers, takes over from retired Falcons and Scotland hooker Scott Lawson.
His extensive coaching experience includes spells with Old Patesians, South Leicester and Birmingham & Solihull.
The 35-year-old is set to combine his new role with his job at Legion Sports
He succeeds Lawson, who did a fine job with Tynedale, leading them to a fourth-place finish in National 2 North.
