The USA has beaten Uruguay, 61-19, to secure the Americas Rugby Championship (ARC) title for the second straight year.
The Eagles ran in nine tries to Uruguay’s three, becoming the first team in the short history of the ARC to go 5-0 in a campaign.

When asked what it means to the team to secure another ARC Championship, Head Coach Gary Gold answered, “It means a great deal, it’s been a long 6 weeks for the guys, and we’re very happy with the outcome.
“It’s good to see all the hard work from the team and staff pay off. The group showed a lot of intent on how they want to play the game.”
Meanwhile, Argentina recorded a comfortable 28-8 win against a spirited Brazil side, to finish second overall in the ARC standings
