New Zealander Vern Cotter has been named Barbarians coach for the upcoming tour that will see the famous invitational side take on England and Ulster.
The 55-year-old Kiwi will coach the invitational side in two matches later this year, with one at Twickenham against England on May 28 before matching up with Ulster in Ireland on June 1.
Commenting on the announcement, Cotter said it would be a tremendous honour.

“The history of the team speaks for itself and I’m sure we’ll have another two excellent games in store both in London and Belfast,” he said.
“We have already started putting together a world-class selection of players for the tour that will no doubt attract huge crowds for both games.
“As the club season comes towards its conclusion we will begin to release the names of those involved.”
