Owen Farrell showed he can be a world class centre during the 2017 Six Nations and the epic British & Irish Lions tour to New Zealand.
Lions teammate Ben Te’o also impressed in New Zealand with his physicality and it could be interesting to pair these two up as a 12/13 or 10/12.
Other contenders include Alex Lozowski and Piers Francis, who both had decent performances during the tour of Argentina.
A shock name to throw into the mix is Manu Tuilagi but we very much doubt he’ll be fit and firing on all cylinders considering his torrid record of injuries the last few seasons.
FLY-HALF
Surely still just between Ford and Farrell.
We’ll throw Danny Cipriani and the returning Toby Flood’s names in the mix just to make it interesting.
SCRUM-HALF
Still between Danny Care and Ben Youngs.
