Wasps fly-half Lima Sopoaga has revealed he was knocked out by a two-punch combination by former England international star James Haskell.
“I go crack this egg on his head. Everyone is losing it laughing, I just go back and think nothing of it,” said the 18-times capped All Black, who co-hosts the Third Phase’ podcast with friends Carl Filo and Titapu Pairama-Lewington.
“Next thing you know, I don’t even remember it, he comes through charging towards me, through the fire, not a little fire, it’s like a blaze, this thing is going up, he comes over and I am just standing there and he just goes duff duff, and I just wake up on the ground.
“So obviously he can throw hands. I just wake up on the ground I am just like what’s going on, my jaw is so sore.”
