Roberson is one of the most revered coaches in the southern hemisphere.
The 46-year-old has astutely led Crusaders since 2017, winning their eighth Super Rugby title in the same year.
In 2018, they collected back to back titles, in both finals beating the Lions from South Africa.
And a year later, they remarkably made it three in a row with a superb win in the final over Jaguares from Argentina.
The Coronavirus pandemic got in their way in 2020 but that didn’t stop their appetite for winning – they claimed the inaugural Super Rugby Aotearoa title last year.
Robertson is a serial winner and has all the tools to bring back the insatiable winning mentality which has been missing for Eddie Jones’ men of late.
