England scrum-half Ben Youngs has his say on Wales disallowed try

Wales rugby fans were left confused and angered by the decision not to award a try in the Six Nations clash at Twickenham after the TMO ruled there was no clear grounding.

But England scrum-half Ben Youngs, who was ruled out of the Six Nations with a knee injury, thinks it would have made very little difference to the game anyway.

Youngs’ tweeted: “Even if try was given only 23mins into the game making it 12-7 boys still in control and would have gone on to win.”

One player who definitely wasn’t amused by the incident was Wales winger Alex Cuthbert, who questioned the point of even having a TMO.

And a lot of fans obviously agreed with the former Lions winger, with his tweet receiving well over 1000 retweets
