Bath fly-half Freddie Burns has stood up to an aggressive online troll and it’s brilliant.
Trolling is a very modern phenomenon that has no signs of abating any time soon. Many players choose to not look at their mentions because the remarks became so bad.
The accused, who was using a false account has decided to “resign” from his job after the Bath fly-half made official complaints to his work.
RT STANDING UP TO BULLYING
This man aggressively trolled me for weeks behind a false account and has decided to “resign” after I made official complaints to his work. A “former” director of L&C mortgages and chairman of Oldfield Old boys. The truth has to be heard! https://t.co/552CgpS1Qr

He is now the“former” director of L&C mortgages and the chairman of Oldfield Old Boys, where Burns began his career as a young lad.
“This man aggressively trolled me for weeks behind a false account.” tweeted Burns.
And the former Leicester Tigers fly-half has received a lot of support after he publically outed the troll.
Well done @FreddieBurns about time somebody stood up to people who hide behind there computers

What a b*llend – you must be proud of your sister standing up with you. Worst part is the company/club for not speaking the truth. They’re just as bad for not setting the records straight.
