The full crowd stayed behind to give former France captain a thunderous standing ovation following his last ever Top 14 game for Toulouse.
The 35-year-old will make the final appearances of his glittering career for the Barbarians later this month.
Toulouse team-mates Maxime Medard, the France full-back, and Argentina lock Patricio Albacete were also called up by Cotter, with the New Zealander also picking compatriot Jeremy Thrush.
