Nigel Owens had been watching on and enjoying himself when he was invited up to sing a few songs, so treated the crowd to a rousing rendition of “Black Velvet Band”.
The next number set the whole place off, with Owens and the band belting out Fields of Athenry to the delight of everybody inside Cassidy’s.
The popular referee later tweeted his thanks to the group.
