What England Sevens stars are doing after they were made redundant

Made redundant by the RFU as part of coronavirus-enforced cuts, GB’s sevens stars are facing a difficult journey to the Tokyo Olympics.

The Sevens players. who don’t receive any government funding, have launched a crowd-funding scheme to aid their preparations for next year.

They’ve so far raised £13,965 as they continue to seek alternative sources of funding to help give them the best shot of achieving an Olympic medal in Tokyo, 2021.
