What happened to the youngest player of every World Cup from 1987 to 2019?

2011: Taylor Paris – Canada (aged 18)

The winger became the youngest player, at the age of 18, ever to be capped by the Canadian senior men’s team. Playing his amateur rugby in Canada and  Scotland, Paris signed a one year deal with Glasgow Warriors in 2012 before subsequent spells with Agen and his current club Castres.

2015: Vasil Lobzhanidze – Georgia (aged 18)

He now holds the honour of being the youngest player to ever appear in a World Cup. Georgia are renowned for boasting a fearsome pack of forwards but this scrum-half bucks the trend and will only grow in ability as the years tick on. He’s since made a move to CA Brive in the Top 14

2019: Vano Karkadze – Georgia (aged 19)

Following a number of impressive displays during the World Cup, the teenage hooker signed for CA Brive in the Top 14.
