Worcester boss gives the latest on du Preez after second surgery

Alan Solomons expects to receive a report from the surgeon who operated on Cornell du Preez tomorrow.

“He had a further operation in Birmingham so we are waiting for the surgeon’s report,” Solomons said.

“As soon as we get that then we will be able to disseminate that information.”

Speaking after Warriors’ 21-15 loss at Sale Sharks on Sunday Solomons added: “I am certainly hoping that by tomorrow (Monday) we will get something (from the surgeon).

“I understand that further surgery took place on Friday.

“Everyone has been rushing around as we have had this game this weekend.”
