The Gloucester back-row beat an incredible 19 defenders in his first three matches of 2019 for the Azzurri. These stats won’t come as any surprise to regular watchers of the Premiership – he beat 56 defenders in just 677 minutes of action last season and completed 96% of the 122 tackles he attempted.
6. S’busiso Nkosi – winger (South Africa)
Given his opportunity during England’s tour of South Africa last summer, Nkosi announced himself on the international stage with two tries during the stunning comeback victory. Since then, he has holds a near 100 per cent strike rate in Test rugby, scoring in four of his last five Test starts, only failing to cross over against the Scots at Murrayfield.
