Now that the Lions is over, we’re all wondering when the behind-the-scenes DVD that has become synonymous with previous tours will be released.
WHEN WILL IT BE RELEASED
Stamp Productions, the company responsible for making the films say that this year’s instalment will be premiered on Sky Sports in September and released on DVD soon after.
HERE’S WHAT WILL BE INCLUDED
In a blog for Televisual, Ben Uttley, Stamp’s managing director, writes: “The trust we’ve managed to establish among players has also allowed us to put mics on the players, bringing greater intimacy to our story, something that has never been seen, or heard, before on a Lions tour.

“A film like this only works if it is authentic. You don’t want the players to modify their behaviour because you’re there with a camera. We keep a low profile by moving quietly around the players and only having a small team.
“This trust has been built upon over three tours. Players have seen the previous films and enjoyed them, so they know what we’re ‘about’.”
