English coach Ben Ryan has been inundated with job offers since his side’s triumph at the Rio Olympics, one of which is a lucrative off from the Japan Rugby Union.
Ryan, who’d announced he was leaving the Pacific Islanders prior to Rio, told the Fijian media that Japans offer comes with their 7s and fifteens team plus the Super Rugby franchise, the Sunwolves.
He revealed it’s the same kind of offers he is looking for but will not make any decision soon on his future.
“They offered me a very nice contract,” said Ryan when speaking to FBC News.
“I said the same as I have said to everybody else, I’m not making any decisions right now,
“But post Olympics I had over 20 offers from around and I need to take time to make a correct decision.”
