Owen Farrell involved in F-WORD rant days before England vs Wales

England superstar Owen Farrell has been involved in an F-word rant ahead of England’s Six Nations battle with Wales at Twickenham tomorrow.

It’s far too early to dub this a competition decider but defeat for either nation would see their silverware hopes take a major dent.

And it has now emerged Farrell has read the riot act to his team-mates at their Pennyhill Park training base in Surrey.

England legend and World Cup winner Matt Dawson revealed he saw Farrell in a rage and he said: “I was down at the (England) training camp and they had, really, quite a sharp session.

“Then the backs just drifted off onto the pitch as we (the media) all got ushered off and I looked at the guys and they were all in a huddle in the middle of the pitch.

“It went from this relatively focused session, but very precise and accurate, to ten backs in a huddle – tight, tension in the shoulders and Owen Farrell pointing across and shouting.

“Every other word was ‘F’ and the other word was ‘Welsh’ and it was just ‘rah rah rah’.

“This is on a Wednesday and I walked off and thought some things just do not change. I like that.”
