Fullback: Jason Woodward - Gloucester

The Cherry and Whites fullback was on fire, scoring a great try as they unexpectedly overcame Northampton on Saturday. An underrated performer who deserves England recognition.

Wing: Jonny May - Leicester Tigers

Leiester Tigers summer signing continues to impress with his sixth try in six games.

Centre: Henry Trinder - Gloucester

Trinder's agility and footwork are remarkable and even more so considering he's only recently came back after his second knee-reconstruction. The Gloucester centre took his two tries well as they toppled Northampton with great panache and he also showed great awareness to set up Billy Twelvetrees for his try.

Centre: Ben Tapuai - Bath Rugby

The centre was the Black, Blue, and Whites attacking lynchpin in the first half, scoring a superb try. Unfortunately, the centre suffered what looked like a serious looking injury when he was stretchered off in the second half.

Wing: Tim Visser - Harlequins

The winger showed why he's one of the divisions most deadly finishers as he ran in two tries during Quins win against Sale on Friday night. Here's his first with the second to follow later in the article.

Fly-half: Alex Lozowski - Saracens

The England ace was outstanding yet again as Sarries toppled Wasps at Allianz Park, kicking 18 points.

Scrum-half: Danny Care - Harlequins

The scrum-half put in a man-of-the-match performance, driving standards and setting up Visser for his brace with a pair of outstanding kicks. Here's the second as promised.

Prop: Mako Vunipola - Saracens

There now seems little debate that the Saracens loosehead is England's most in-form prop. There is zero chance of him being displaced from Jones' XV anytime soon.

Hooker: Jamie George - Saracens

Lions and England hooker, Jamie George, claimed a hat-trick of pushover tries as Saracens overcame Wasps on Sunday. Surely he should displace England captain Dylan Hartley in Eddie Jones XV? What do you think?

Prop: Harry Williams - Exeter Chiefs

The Chiefs prop, capped twice by England in Argentina during the summer, produced another powerful display against the Falcons as he bids for a place in Eddie Jones' Autumn international squad. He also helped force two scrum penalties against a formidable Newcastle pack.

Lock: George Kruis - Saracens

Saracens' lock is one of the Aviva Premiership's most consistent performers, and he was as assured as ever on Sunday. He was consistent in the lineout and offered a lot at the breakdown.

Lock: Jeremy Thursh - Gloucester

Called into the starting XV at the last minute after Ed Slater pulled out with injury, Thrush put in an all-action display as the Gloucester pack unexpectedly managed to outgun Northampton at Kingsholm.

Flanker: Zach Mercer - Bath Rugby

Although Mercer only turned 20 at the end of June, the Bath flanker is showing all the characteristics of a future full international. He is relentless at the breakdown and is coming on leaps and bounds at a rate of knots.

Flanker: Will Evans - Leicester Tigers

The England openside offered a timely reminder of his lavish potential with a starring role for Leicester as they overcame London Irish to claim a fourth consecutive win. Evans suffered a frustrating summer, suffering from glandular fever, but roared back into the shop window with an all-action display.

Number Eight: Sam Simmonds - Exeter Chiefs

The Exeter Chiefs back-rower has been superb all season, but he surpassed himself against Newcastle with an outstanding try, leaving Falcons winger DTH van der Merwe for dead. Give this lad an England shirt.
