Both Joe Marler and Jame Haskell have released autobiographies in the last week with 'Loose Head: Confessions of an (un)professional rugby player' and 'What a flanker' hitting the shelves.
In a battle for sales, Marler has taken to hiding his former teammates book in Waterstones.
The clip from social media is seriously funny and quickly went viral!

5 people who should avoid reading James Haskell's new autobiography

1. Lawrence Dallaglio

Although the story regarding the England and Wasps isn't particularly standout or shocking, it does make him look like a bit of a dick.
Before the 2007 World Cup, he invited Haskell to his hotel room for afternoon tea.
Hask found him 'reclining on his bed in a fluffy dressing gown, like some ailing monarch.'
After making Haskell pour him a cup of tea, Dallaglio said: "Hask, I've been speaking to Brian (Ashton) and we've decided to take you to the World Cup."
Despite spending £50 on the afternoon tea, Haskell left in a state of high excitement.
However, a few weeks later he discovered when the squad was announced and he wasn't in it. He was never given a reason why by the Wasps captain. Baffling.

2. Rory Best

Following a long drinking session during the 2017 Lions tour the hooker was starting to fade, so Haskell said: “Come on old fella, let’s have a little lie down.”
He continued: "I wheeled in the hospital bed that had been Jack Nowell’s place of rest the night before, and we put Rory on it and tucked him in, so that he looked like a corpse. Within about 30 seconds he was asleep and happily snoring away.
Then I said, “Why don’t we wheel him outside and leave him on the street?” We pushed him through the hotel, sniggering like children, but when we got him outside I said, “Why don’t we push him down that hill?”
'Our Lions hotel was right on top of a huge hill in Auckland that sloped down for miles to the sea. Without waiting for a response, I kicked the back of his bed and off he went. For the first 10 seconds or so, we all thought this was one of the funniest things we’d ever seen but as the hill became steeper, the bed picked up speed and panic set in.
'People were screaming because they thought he was a runaway corpse that had rolled out the back of some undertaker’s ambulance. Rory was just very confused.'
One of the best rugby social story ever.

3. Stuart Lancaster

Despite his respect for the former England coach, it's fair to say he wasn't a fan of his methods.
“On the 2012 tour of South Africa, we were treated like kids,” wrote Haskell.
“It may or may not have had something to do with the fact that Stuart was an ex-teacher… Being treated like kids on a school trip bred resentment.

"It’s not like we wanted to go on the smash all the time, but you should be allowed to let your hair down occasionally, especially after beating the All Blacks.
"Stuart’s regime had too many alpha male coaches - guys who were great as individuals but intimidating as a group. They weren’t approachable or the kind of blokes who would put their arm around a player or judge the mood of the squad. And there weren’t enough players with big personalities.

4. Tom Hardy

The Hask told a great story of how a conversation with the actor, famed for his appearances in The Dark Knight Rises, Mad Max, Peaky Blinders and many more, was instantly trumped.
He wrote: 'I was chatting to Tom Hardy, as you do, and someone tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around to see Elton John with his husband David Furnish. Elton said, 'James, how are you?'
'Tom Hardy was yesterday's news. He could have dropped down dead beside me and I wouldn't have noticed. Elton fucking John: what a legend.'
Who even is Tom Hardy?!

5. Lions teammate

Everyone remembers the wonderful clips of the two sharing a room during the 2017 Lions tour, however, the flanker reveals what you didn't see in his new book.
Although not named, fans on social media believe the identify of this mystery teammate to be the Ireland flanker.

"I did have the misfortune of rooming from time to time with someone who ran that boxer close (taking girls back)," wrote Haskell.
"He'd say to me: 'Hask, I need to borrow the room.'
'What do you mean?'
'I mean I need a bit of privacy for a few hours.'
What a player, literally. If only he could be as productive on the pitch these days.
