"Chaotic" - Four Wales players who flopped during their World Cup exit

RUCK 5.5/10: "Strong opening tackle to set his tempo in defence. Spilled the pass from North, which could have led to a try. Good presence on Argentina’s back three under the high ball, beut ended his half with an unnecessary shot on Cubelli. Lucky to avoid a yellow. Continued to jump in front of high ball catchers, and repeatedly lucky to be let off."

Rugby Pass 4/10: "Had a quiet first half, one lowlight being a bungled pass with the Argentinian line beckoning, another being a braindead push on Matteo Carreras, which was lucky only to be a yellow. A day to forget for the Cardiff winger."

Wales Online 5/10: "Gave away a needless penalty on the stroke of half-time to gift Argentina points, and, even more crucially, momentum. Chased hard but the ball rarely came his way. A bad day at the office."

RUCK 5/10: "Struggled at the line-out, with three failed set-pieces, two from over-throwing. Solid early scrum and presented a confident carry option. Forced the Pumas scrum to crumble in the first half. (Replaced at half time for Dewi Lake)."

Rugby Pass 5/10: "Elias wasn’t entirely accurate with his lineout throws and didn’t stand out in open play."

Planet Rugby 4/10: "He threw his weight around well on defence and was strong with ball in hand, but three poor lineout throws, from five, cost Wales promising attacking opportunities in the first half and was replaced at the break because of it. "

Wales Online 4/10: "Up to this point, he had been one of the unsung heroes of Wales' World Cup campaign but three overthrown lineouts in Argentina's 22 put his side under huge pressure. Was replaced at half-time."

Rugby Pass 5/10: "Rowlands put in a mostly solid shift in the second row and shone in the carrying stakes. Against that, he was culpable in at times chaotic Welsh lineout."

Wales Online 5/10: "The Racing 92-bound second-row worked tirelessly, making 15 tackles, but he was part of a Welsh pack who got outmuscled by the fired-up Pumas in Marseille. Didn't make much headway with ball in hand, only making four metres."

Rugby Pass 5/10: "Fell off a few tackles and was put under significant pressure by in the scrum by Francisco Gomez Kodela. He put in a workmanlike in the loose play even if he didn’t exactly dominate."

Planet Rugby 5/10: "Much like Francis, he also didn’t have it all his own way at scrum time, conceding a penalty, but was strong defensively."

"Not his best game in a Wales shirt, and struggled to impose himself as much at the set-piece as he had in the pool stages. Worked hard around the park but missed a crucial tackle on Mateo Carreras during the first half."
