Exeter Chiefs have unveiled their full leavers list for the 2024/25 campaign, with 15 players set to exit Sandy Park this summer.

Several departures had already been confirmed earlier this year. Long-serving scrum-half Stu Townsend, who made over 100 appearances for the club, is heading to Harlequins, while Jacques Vermeulen, a key figure in Exeter’s historic double-winning season, is bound for Sale Sharks.
Also previously announced are moves for:
- Dan Frost to Bath Rugby
- Jack Innard to Gloucester Rugby
- Joe Hawkins to Scarlets
- Marcus Street to Saracens
- Sam Maunder to Coventry
- Billy Keast to Worcester Warriors
- Chester Ribbons to Cornish Pirates
- Charlie McCaig to Edinburgh Rugby
Joining them on the leavers list are Niall Armstrong, Jack Dunne, Hallan Chapman, and Franco Molina, all of whom will move on at the end of the season, with their next destinations still to be announced.
Meanwhile, Eoin O’Connor will hang up his boots and retire from professional rugby.
Rob Baxter, Director of Rugby, paid tribute to the departing players:
“I’d like to thank all the players leaving us for being a part of the Chiefs journey. They have all contributed to our environment and I know I speak for everyone at the club when I say that we wish them all the very best in the future.”
It’s the end of an era for many, but Exeter Chiefs look ahead to a new chapter with fresh faces and renewed ambition.
