Gallagher PREM Rugby have unveiled a huge new trophy, that will be presented to the winners of the 2025/26 season.
With the league set to culminate on Saturday, 20th June at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, the prize has certainly grown in stature as we approach the end of the season. There is just four rounds of the regular Gallagher PREM season to go, with Week 15 kicking off this Friday 8th May, as Gloucester host Sale Sharks under the lights of Kingsholm.
The top four ranked sides at the end of the 18 Rounds, will then battle it out in the play-offs ahead of the incoming Grand Final. Bath are the defending champions, and it has been reported that the blue, black and whites have kept hold of the old silverware they secured at Twickenham at the end of last season.

Johann van Graan's men triumphed 23-21 over Leicester Tigers in last season's show-piece event, with Bath currently second in the table as we approach the business end of the season. Northampton Saints are the current league leaders, with Bath four points adrift. Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs fill in the third and fourth spots, with a much (physically) bigger prize up for grabs at the end of the campaign.
The new Gallagher PREM Rugby trophy is embossed with the new black and orange colour-scheme logo, and weighs in at a colossal 38 kilograms. This tips the scales compared to the old Premiership trophy, which weighed 15 kilograms altogether. Broken down, the trophy stands at one metre tall and 56cms wide, with the trophy width a chunky 26 kilograms before the base adds a further 12 kilograms.
