Steve Borthwick delivers what looks to be his last Leicester Tigers interview following their victory over Clermont on Saturday.
He is expected to be confirmed as the new England head coach tomorrow, but all he wanted to concentrate was his teams latest impressive victory.
The 43-year-old has been the overwhelming favourite for the role since Eddie Jones was sacked earlier in December.
"We allowed the game to slow down and become an arm-wrestle, which is not what we wanted, but you have to hand it to our team as they just keep fighting," said Borthwick.
"It's a productive two-week period as we will take two from two and we have a few players coming back now which will add to our strength.
"I'll enjoy this win today as it's a special club here, and I feel privileged to be part of it over the last two and a half years."
The former England captain's first match in charge will be the Six Nations opener against Scotland on 4 February.
