Louis Rees-Zammit could quit Bristol Bears already - likely next club revealed

The Welsh speedster returned to rugby this season after a high-profile spell chasing an NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars, signing a one-year deal at Ashton Gate. That agreement was struck with an eye on a potential move to the proposed R360 competition for the 2026–27 campaign.

However, that option is now understood to be off the table for the 24-year-old, whose elite pace, finishing ability and global profile make him one of the most marketable players in the game.

Rees-Zammit burst onto the scene with Gloucester as a teenager, becoming the youngest try-scorer in Six Nations history for Wales and a key figure in their 2021 Grand Slam triumph.
