It is thought that Leicester Tigers and Bristol are going head-to-head to secure the signature of Ospreys, Wales and Lions forward, Alun Wyn Jones.
The 33-year-old triple British and Irish Lions tourist is out of contract after the 2019 World Cup, when his national dual contract comes to an end.
It's now thought that he will definitely leave the Ospreys.
According to RUCK sources, Leicester is leading the chase but the Bears may be prepared to allow Jones to remain in Wales and travel for training/ games.
This may tempt Jones to join Bristol as he may not want to uproot his young family.
