If there was a record for the number of records broken in a final, it was probably set at the climax to this season’s Gallagher Premiership Rugby season.

1. Legendary Faz

Owen Farrell has a host of records to his name including most points (73), most conversions (10) and most penalty goals (16) in Premiership finals.

2. Record score

By the end, the two had set the record for the most combined points in a match, with the final score of 37-34 to Saracens meaning the total was 71.

3. SEVENTH finals

On an individual basis, Saracens stalwarts Alex Goode, who also has most minutes played with 580, and Brad Barritt, registered their seventh final starts.

4. Comeback Kings

The final score also saw landmarks tumble as Saracens overhauled an 11-point deficit at 60-minutes to win.

5. Man in the middle

It was a record-extending day for Wayne Barnes, who oversaw his ninth Gallagher Premiership Rugby final.

6. Fastest Premiership Try

Exeter Chiefs scored the fastest try in Premiership history when Nic White crossed after just 25 seconds against Saracens. The touchdown came so quickly the smoke had barely cleared from the pre-match pyrotechnics for the 2019 Gallagher Premiership final at Twickenham!
