Sale Sharks aim to build on their success next season, having secured three strong signings for the 2024/25 Premiership campaign.

#1. Le Roux Roets from Sharks
The 6-foot-8 player has signed a two-year contract with the Premiership club.
Roets will be joining Sale from the United Rugby Championship side Sharks. He has also played for the Golden Lions, Blue Bulls, and Pumas, as well as Racing 92 in France and the Waratahs in Australia.
Sale head coach Alex Sanderson said: "He loves to bang hard and he'll add that bit more weight and power to our pack."
He added: "We've talked about what motivates him and what drives him, and he said he just wants to do the hard work and make others around him look better. It's not about the Hollywood moments with him and I like that attitude.
"I think South Africans, culturally and through their mentality, have something in common with the hard working, no-nonsense, straight-talking northern mentality. It matches up well and I have no doubt that he'll be another one who will fit in well here."
Roets said: "I like to pride myself on my defensive work and my set-piece but I enjoy the attacking side of the game too. I want to be a big presence in the tight five and try and get as much go-forward ball for the team as possible.
"Sale came to me a couple of years ago and I was really tempted by the offer but at the time I didn't qualify for a work permit. Unfortunately, I did my anterior cruciate ligament very soon after that.
"So when my agent called and said that Sale had come back again, it was a great feeling to know that such a big club obviously saw something in me."
#2. Waisea Nayacalevu from Toulon
The Toulon centre will join the Manchester-based team after leaving the Top14 club at the end of the season.
Nayacalevu has signed a one-year contract with the Sharks, with an option for a further year.
"I've watched the Premiership for a long time and it's always been in the back of my mind that I would love to play there one day and experience rugby in England," he told the club website.
Nayacalevu scored a try in Fiji's famous win at Twickenham prior to the last World Cup, in which he captained his country.
The 33-year-old, who can play both centre and wing, spent 10 years at Stade Français before moving to Toulon two years ago.
"I have spoken to Telusa Veainu and he only has positive things to say about the club and about Manchester," Nayacalevu added.
"I'm looking forward to playing with some of the guys I've played against, like Tom Curry and George Ford.
"But I also know there are a lot of really talented young players in the Sale Sharks squad and I'm excited to share my experience and help them develop as much as I can.
"I told Alex that it's what I've been doing for the last few years of my career and it's something I'm passionate about."
#3. Will Addison from Ulster
Sale Sharks have announced the return of their former captain, Will Addison, on a one-year contract starting next season, with an option to extend for an additional year.
The 31-year-old utility back, a product of the Sharks' academy, previously made over 100 appearances for the club during his initial tenure.
An Ireland international, Addison moved to Ulster in 2018 but faced significant challenges due to two major injuries during his time with the Irish province.
"It was really tough to leave Sale but I did it for the right reasons and I have loved my time in UIster. I played international rugby for Ireland and that was a huge dream of mine," he said.
“But I’ve remained a big Sale supporter and I’ve loved watching the club going from strength to strength in the last couple of years."
