France has reportedly offered Shaun Edwards the security Wales wouldn't by tabling a four-year contract, according to reports in the French press.
The defence guru's future has been shrouded in doubt after it was confirmed that he wouldn't be taking the head coaching role at Wigan Warriors after the World Cup, as previously announced.
RMC Sport are now reporting that les Bleus are prepared to offer him a bumper four-year contract and say talks are at an advanced stage.
They also expect a decision either way to come in the next 48 hours.
