Six players who could be bolters for England at the Rugby World Cup

Eddie Jones has spoken frequently of his desire to uncover a World Cup bolter, England’s equivalent of Nehe Milner-Skudder, who broke into the New Zealand team in 2015 and scored in the final against Australia.

Here are six talented players who could put their hand up for selection between now and when the World Cup kicks off in September.

1. Gabriel Ibitoye

Ibitoye was called into the senior England training squad during the Six Nations and he was one of four nominees for player of the tournament at the Under-20 World Championship. The powerful, quick wing is stocky with a low centre of gravity, a devastating turn of pace and electric feet. This could be a breakthrough campaign for him at Harlequins.
