Rugby is a family sport. Here are five pairs of female and male players that you may not know are related.
1. Kristy & Matt Giteau
Wallabies legend Matt's older sister Kristy Giteau is a dual-code rugby international for Australia. She was a member of the squad to the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup that finished in third place.
2. Niall & Sonny Bill Williams
Niall, who has a twin called Denise, is the younger sister of dual-code New Zealand international Sonny Bill Williams. She won silver at the 2016 Olympics and 2018 in the Commonwealth Games representing the New Zealand female rugby sevens.
3. Meg and Mike Ellery
Mike Ellery is in his second stint with England Sevens having sandwiched an extremely successful career at Saracens in the meantime. The Consett-born winger isn’t the only member of his family with sporting talent though as his sister Megan has also played for England Sevens, while his mother Dawn was an England sprinter.
4. Tina, Anna, and Scott Sio
As the sisters of Wallabies prop Scott Sio and daughters of former Samoan international David Sio, it was surely written in the stars that Tina (lock) and Ana (prop) Sio would follow their family's footsteps into rugby. The twin sisters, 22, are fast rising stars in the Australian women's game.
5. Annaleah & Xavier Rush
Annaleah, who was a utility back, is a former female rugby union player for the Black Ferns. She represented New Zealand at the 1998 and 2002 Women's Rugby World Cup. She is the sister of former All Black and Blues Number Eight Xavier Rush, who also made over 100 appearances for the Cardiff Blues between 2005 and 2012.

6. Craig & Paula Chalmers
As a player, he represented Scotland and the British Lions at international level. He was capped 60 times for Scotland, scoring 166 points. But his sister Paula Chalmers played for the Scottish Women's rugby team and achieved an even higher number of caps.
