Ospreys have been handed a significant boost heading into the PRO14 weekend after captain Justin Tipuric signed a new contract with the region.
The highly regarded Wales and British & Irish Lions openside flanker has agreed a three-year deal extension, boosting his wage to around £400,000 per season from £250,000 to stay at the Liberty Stadium.

Tipuric has been the subject of intense speculation about his playing future but he has committed his future to the Ospreys in a major fillip.
A Grand Slam winner with Wales and a Lions Test star, Tipuric has been a one-club man and made his bow for the Ospreys as a 20-year-old.
