Leicester Tigers are in advanced talks to sign Wallaby hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau in December.
The Mail on Sunday has reported that the 77-cap Australian is close to joining the Tigers after the autumn internationals.
The powerful 32-year-old is best known for his turn of pace, and bravery, not to mention his untamed hair.
Polota-Nau would link up with fellow Australian, Matt O’Connor, who took over as Tigers head coach in January.
This move will only fuel the rumour that Harry Thacker is set to leave Welford Road to join Pat Lam at Bristol.
