Former Wales captain Sam Warburton and wife Rachel have welcomed their second child – and it’s a boy!
The ex-British and Irish Lions skipper confirmed the news on Twitter, posting ‘Welcome Max James Kennedy-Warburton’.

Warburton’s first child, Anna Victoria, was born back in July 2016 – just a couple of weeks after Sam returned from captaining Wales on their summer tour of New Zealand.
Earlier in July, former cyclist and wife of Wales rugby star George North, Becky James, posted a picture on her Instagram story of what appeared to be a baby shower – showing a balloon with the words ‘Baby Warburton” on it and Rachel tagged in it.
Warburton and childhood sweetheart Rachel married in July 2014, at the Celtic Manor.
The couple grew up on the same street in Rhiwbina, Cardiff and attended Whitchurch High School together.
