The Leicester Tigers are set to unveil the signing of Matías Moroni from Los Jaguares.
The 29-year-old Argentine back’s arrival comes after the English Premiership club lost veteran center Manu Tuilagi to rivals, the Sale Sharks.
Here is everything you need to know about the 29-year-old centre:

1. Starting out

To date, Moroni has played his entire career in his homeland, starting with the C.U.B.A. club before signing with Super Rugby franchise, the Jaguares.

2. Olympian

Moroni competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics for the Argentina national rugby sevens team. The Pumas were knocked out by Great Britain in the quarter-finals, losing 5-0 after extra time.

3. Key strengths

Despite being 90kg, the the centre has clocked a time of 12 seconds in the 100m sprint. He's also very capable of an unorthodox offload. An excellent player.

4. International pedigree

Moroni has been heavily involved for Argentine teams. He made his test debut against Scotland in 2014, played in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and featured in RWCs 2015 and 2019. He currently has 47 caps for Argentina.

5. New Dad

The centre welcomed his first child, Milo Moroni, into the world just a week ago with his long-term partner.
