Will Stuart suffers horrific injury after brutal scrum against South Africa

England’s replacement tighthead-prop Will Stuart suffered a horrible looking injury in the closing stages of their defeat to South Africa.

Replacing Kyle Sinckler at the break, Stuart had been playing well prior to suffering the injury.

One fan wrote: “Hope the Will Stuart injury is not as grim as it looks – having such a bad run of injuries”

A second commented: “Noooooooo not Will Stuart! Fingers crossed it isn’t as bad as it looks:

“That was horrible. Hoping Will Stuart is okay,” said a third.

A fourth added: “Stuart was screaming in pain. Grim.”

RUCK will post an update as soon as we learn more about Stuart’s injury.

“It’s over for him” – Five England players who flopped and who should replace them for the Six Nations

#1. Mako Vunipola

Planet Rugby 3/10: “As expected, Frans Malherbe gave him an absolute going over in the set-piece.”

Telegraph 4/10: “Penalised at the first scrum for pushing straight down, before getting one back. Off at half-time, probably always the plan, as England turned to Genge’s dynamism to spark life into their attack.”

Mail Online 3/10: “First start for 18 months and hooked at half-time like the rest of the front row without making an impact.”

Replacement: Joe Marler
