2003 World Cup winners son goes viral after starring for England U20

England U20 Men opened their 2023 Six Nations campaign with a 41-36 win over Scotland U20 at The Stoop.

Alan Dickens’ side ran in six tries at the home of Harlequins to claim a winning bonus point.

Josh Hathaway scored a first-half hat-trick, with Chandler Cunningham-South, Finn Carnduff and Tobias Elliott also crossing, the last of those tries crucial in fighting off a Scotland comeback.

England will take on Italy in round two of the tournament at Gloucester Rugby’s Kingsholm Stadium next Friday.

One of the more recognisable named on the team sheet was Bracken, and Charlie is indeed the son of 2003 World Cup winner Kyran.

The talented scrum-half went viral after the game as he gave his jersey to one of the watching supporters.

Kyran wrote on Twitter: “Great win for England 20’s! Even prouder to see my boy take off his shirt and give to this supporter. Met his dad who was supporting Scotland. Haven’t told Charlie yet!”
