The draw for the tournament’s 11th edition was held on Wednesday 3 December at 09:00 GMT and was broadcast live on RugbyPass TV.

As hosts, Australia were automatically placed into Pool A, with the remaining 23 nations drawn during the ceremony.
The expanded tournament will be the biggest in history: 24 nations and territories, seven host cities, six weeks of action — all chasing one trophy.
World Rugby Chair Brett Robinson conducted the draw in December before fixtures, kick off times, and stadiums were confirmed at the start of February.
