Argentina extended their losing streak in the Nations Championship after suffering a bruising 42-12 defeat against Ireland at Aviva Stadium.
Despite winger Mateo Carreras brilliantly scoring two in either half, it proved insufficient as Andy Farrell's side cruised to an emphatic victory on a chilly night in Dublin.
With little to separate the sides in the early exchanges, Carreras expertly gathered a cross-field kick from Tomas Albornoz and scored the opening try.
Ireland responded minutes later, with Hugo Keenan crossing the whitewash and Sam Prendergast adding the extras to put the hosts in front.
Early in the second quarter, Los Pumas showed real attacking intent but couldn't turn their pressure into points.
Ireland made them pay as Dan Sheehan powered over before full-back Keenan showcased his footwork to score his second try of the evening.
With the visitors on the back foot, matters worsened when, after losing captain Julian Montoya, outside-centre Justo Piccardo was sent off for ten minutes before the break.

Prendergast then impressively secured the hosts' bonus point after breezing through Argentina's defence.
Still a man down, winger Carreras scored his second to cut the deficit, but full-back Keenan easily added a third, punishing the visitors' lacklustre defence.
Shortly after Efrain Elias was yellow-carded, replacement Ronan Kelleher, from a catch-and-drive, conducted the assault and powered over for the hosts' sixth.
Sam Illo was next to be sent to the sin bin, followed by Pedro Rubiolo, who appeared to have claimed Los Pumas' third. However, the hosts showed great strength in holding up the second-row player.
The visitors then showed great courage in the closing moments, but will head into their round five Nations Championship meeting against Italy after being hit for six against Ireland.
