Stuart Hogg on the moment his Lions tour came to an end
“I was on Facebook the other day and I saw an old clip from way back when Fiji played the Lions. Way before I was born,” Naholo told the Daily Mail.
“How good would it be if they did it again? It would be great for rugby. Playing for the Highlanders against the Lions is as important as playing for the All Blacks.”
The game Naholo might have referred to was back in 1977 when Fiji beat the Lions 25-21 in Suva – three days after a fourth test against the All Blacks in a series the Lions lost 3-1.
