Gabby Logan's 115kg son Reuben could still end up playing for another Six Nations nation, despite already switching from England to Scotland.
The Sale Sharks forward has already worn two international shirts during his young career. But a third remains an option, thanks to his family's sporting history.
Reuben is the son of former Scotland winger Kenny Logan, who won 70 caps for his country. His mother, Gabby, also represented Wales in rhythmic gymnastics at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
That leaves the powerful back-rower with an unusual choice of international teams.

Why Reuben Logan could switch nations

Logan was born in England and came through the country's age-grade system. He represented England U18s and earned a place in their U20 elite player squad. However, he changed direction ahead of the 2025 U20 Six Nations.
The forward chose Scotland, following in his father's footsteps.
Speaking to the official Six Nations website, Logan explained why.
"I've always been a Scottish fan," he said.
He also admitted England had initially offered a useful route into professional rugby.
But his chances of progressing through their international pathway appeared limited.
The decision certainly pleased his father.
"Dad's pretty happy, I think," Logan joked.
"I think he pretended when I was with England that he was happy with it, but he wasn't really."

Wales have already tried to tempt him

Logan also qualifies for Wales through his late grandfather, former international footballer Terry Yorath.
His family connection means Wales could be another option if he ever reconsiders his international future.
And Welsh supporters have already tried to persuade him.
Speaking on Sam Warburton's podcast, Gabby revealed that a Welsh choir approached Reuben at her father's funeral.
The singers had travelled from Cardiff and asked whether he would consider representing Wales.
However, Gabby made her son's feelings clear.
"To be fair to Reuben, he's been Scottish since he was born."
His Scotland U20 appearances do not, by themselves, prevent him representing another eligible country at senior level.
There is no confirmed indication that Logan intends to abandon Scotland.

Reuben Logan's twin sister is also a rising sports star

Reuben isn't the only talented youngster in the Logan family.
His twin sister Lois, 21, is making a name for herself in a very different sport.
The talented showjumper has represented Great Britain at youth level and qualified for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show.
She has also tried horse racing, making her debut in the Magnolia Cup at Goodwood in July 2025.
Proud parents Gabby and Kenny were there to watch her compete.
Lois has previously spoken about her ambition to reach the Olympic Games.
As we revealed when Gabby Logan's twins celebrated their 21st birthday, both have followed their famous parents into elite sport.
One is chasing international rugby honours. The other has Olympic ambitions.
Not a bad sporting family, really.
