Director of rugby Dai Young has issued an update on the fitness status of the three players injured during pre-season.
Jimmy Gopperth: Has undergone an ACL reconstruction following an injury sustained in Connacht. Estimated absence – six to nine months.
Jake Cooper-Woolley: Has undergone surgery on a bicep rupture sustained during the Portugal camp. Estimated absence – another six to eight weeks.
TJ Harris: Has undergone surgery on a bicep rupture. Estimated absence – another four to six weeks.
