“Delusional” – Courtney Lawes damning message to fans who want Eddie Jones sacked

Courtney Lawes comments about whether Eddie Jones should be sacked shows how England have lost their cutting-edge and guile that nations once feared.

Some fans have described the Northampton forwards thoughts as delusional as he continues to fully back the Aussie despite the chance of another fifth place finish in the Six Nations.

‘The thing is everyone’s complaining nowadays,” said Lawes.

‘It doesn’t matter what you do, how good you’ve been or whatever, somebody’s going to find something to complain about.

“Somebody’s always going to say, ‘This person should be doing this, shouldn’t be doing this, should be in the team or shouldn’t be’. At this point it’s so ridiculous. We don’t use it as motivation, no, because there’s no point in even watching it.’

“Eddie has been massive for my career and really helped me push towards my potential. It’s been massive.

“I don’t know how many Lions tours I would have got without him and if he hadn’t given me a kick up the arse.’

#5. Andy Farrell – 22/1

The irony with Farrell is that he is arguably the most obvious candidate and fits the role as well as anyone, but he might be the toughest for the RFU to land due to his long-term deal with Ireland.
