Former England captain Dylan Hartley has chosen two England forwards in his starting front-row for the British and Irish Lions XV this summer.
It is difficult to judge who will make the test XV as things stand, although many pundits have been giving their predictions in recent times.
Amongst those is Hartley. Speaking on the Offload podcast, the former England captain revealed the front-row that could go ‘toe-to-toe’ with the powerful Springbok pack.
Loosehead-prop: Mako Vunipola (England)
The Saracens loosehead has delivered already on two tours for Gatland and the Lions, which cannot be underestimated. Gatland knows some players will deliver for him, and he clearly believes form is temporary and class is permanent.
