Eight rugby players who were sacked by their clubs for disciplinary issues

RUCK takes a look at eight rugby players who have had their contracts terminated by their clubs.

1. Alafoti Fa’osiliva (Bath Rugby)

He was sacked after knocking out a 21-year-old student in an unprovoked attack in 2016. Bath terminated the flanker’s contract after he pleaded guilty. with Samoa international given a suspended prison sentence for causing actual bodily harm when he was drunk in the city’s SouthGate centre on February 6. Fa’osiliva then went onto join Worcester before hanging up his boots.


2. Tom Arscott (Sale Sharks)

The winger had his contract terminated by Sale Sharks in 2017 after an internal investigation found that he leaked confidential team information to Bristol before their Premiership game on 1 January. He then headed to France for a season before returning to the Premiership with Newcastle Falcons.
