After receiving a yellow card in Harlequins 52-24 defeat against Ulster in the European Champions Cup on Friday, Kyle Sinckler has responded to criticism he received on social media.
The British & Irish Lions and England prop was sent to the sin bin for bodychecking Jacob Stockdale in the 60th minute of their Pool 1 encounter, which saw Sinckler cop a lot of heat on Twitter.
Sinckler responded in a rather level-headed fashion, and thanked the fans sarcastically, branding their ‘abuse’ refreshing.
I do love twitter and all the abuse I get on here it’s refreshing 😊

Surprised you didn’t get bored half way through that tweet and get a deliberate yellow to take yourself out of it.

If @KyleSinckler put as much effort into the match as he did moaning at the ref and the crowd, he might have had a half decent game.
