Ireland seemed to be operating in a lower gear, yet they managed to secure a comfortable 29-10 victory at the Aviva Stadium.

The game started with George Ford putting England in the lead through a well-placed kick.

owever, the tide turned swiftly as the powerful centre Bundee Aki surged ahead with a try for the hosts. Ross Byrne’s successful conversion added to Ireland’s growing dominance on the field.

Garry Ringrose added another score, propelling Andy Farrell’s team to a 12-3 lead as they reached the halftime break.

England stayed in the game until Billy Vunipola’s red card with the hosts pulling clear thereafter with wingers James Lowe and Mack Hansen crossing the whitewash.

In the closing moments, Kyle Sinckler found the mark with a late consolation try for England, shortly before Keith Earls, celebrating his 100th cap, secured the fifth try for the home team.
