George Ford now has both of his brothers alongside him at Sale Sharks after the family trio were reunited at the Gallagher PREM club.
The England fly-half has been at Sale since 2022, but older brother Joe and younger brother Jacob are now both part of the coaching set-up.
Joe returned to Sale in 2025, initially joining as attack coach following a spell with Doncaster Knights.
He has since stepped up to become head coach for the 2026/27 season.
Jacob was the latest Ford to arrive, with Sale confirming his appointment as Backs Transition Coach earlier this summer.
The youngest of the three brothers will work closely with players making the step from Sale's academy into the senior squad.
Ford admits family reunion is 'surreal'
George admits having all three brothers working together is something he never expected to happen.
"It is surreal to all be in the same room together," he told the Telegraph.
"I just really feel fortunate to be working with my brothers – to all be at the same club, trying to make Sale successful, from in and around the area where we're from, I couldn't think of this happening.
"Now we have this opportunity, I'm just desperately excited to make it work and be successful."
There is plenty of history between the brothers.
George actually made his professional debut for Leicester Tigers aged just 16 in 2009 against Leeds Carnegie.
On the opposite side that night was Joe, who was also making his professional debut.
The pair would later play together at Leicester before their careers took them in different directions.
Joe eventually moved into coaching and returned to Sale Sharks in 2025.
Now Jacob has followed him.
According to the Telegraph, the youngest Ford beat more than 70 applicants to land his role with the Sharks.
George remains at the heart of things on the pitch as Sale target another push at the top end of the Gallagher PREM.
He also has plenty of new faces around him this season, with Courtney Lawes, Joe Marchant and Alex Lozowski among the additions to a new-look Sale Sharks squad.
For the Ford family, though, the new season has an added twist.
For the first time, all three brothers are trying to take Sale forward together.
